Encore is supporting World Water Week as the event in Stockholm focuses on finding ways to protect water sources.
Organised by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), World Water Week’s theme is ‘Water and Waste: Reduce and Reuse’.
The week brings together more than 3,000 people from nearly 130 countries to address global water challenges.
SIWI Executive Director, Torgny Holmgren, said: “The week’s theme ‘Water and Waste: Reduce and Reuse’ really touches the very core of our daily lives.
“To reduce, some drastic changes will be necessary – especially by the main water users including industries.
“I think it is very important to try and change the mind set around waste. Rather than presenting us with a problem, we can view waste as an asset.”
Encore Director, Graham Kelly, said: “Encore really supports the World Water Week message because it is a great example of how easily water consumption can be reduced and how an existing source can be reused.
“Encore is a like-for-like replacement product and uses water that until now has been drained away to waste.
“In warm climates, it virtually eliminates the need to use mains water to flush the toilet.”
