Yes. Comprehensive testing showed the amount of condensate generated actually exceeds the capacity of the cistern.

To avoid the cistern overflowing we have incorporated a safety overflow allowing the excess condensate to be connected back to the main drain. As our overflow has a 75mm deep water seal, no further traps are required allowing an easier connection to the drainage stack.
