Air conditioning units have a pipe that drains away all the condensate. Encore uses this as a free water supply. Conventional cisterns can’t use this water because they don’t have:
- An extra inlet valve for condensate from the air conditioning unit
- Two chambers preventing all the water from being lost when the toilet is flushed
- Capacity to hold 18 litres of water
- A patent to adjust the amount of water used in each flush to meet different international requirements
